VCU LIFE SCIENCES
Core research facilities
VCU Life Sciences bolsters learning and research through a rich network of facilities and resources that span all of VCU.
The Eugene P. and Lois E. Trani Center for Life Sciences houses the VCU Life Sciences administrative offices, as well as core laboratories and centers for research and instruction. Our partnerships extend throughout both the Monroe Park and MCV campuses and include the Virginia BioTechnology Research Park, which provides VCU Life Sciences students and faculty direct access to the biosciences industry.
Acquired as a gift from Inger Rice, the VCU Rice Rivers Center serves as a major component of the research, educational and outreach mission of VCU Life Sciences. A living laboratory, this 494-acre property offers abundant and unique learning, teaching and research experiences for students, faculty and the community.
